Suzy Cote was born in Santa Barbara and raised in San Luis Obispo. She began dance classes at the age of 6 and, at 12, began her life as an actress with a role in the Great American Melodrama's "A Christmas Carol."
At 18, Suzy enrolled at UCLA as a dance major and started working with the theatre department in her second year. Her first professional job as a dancer was the retro film Back to the Beach starring Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon.
Suzy earned her first screen test as well as her first plane trip (to New York) and successfully landed the role of Samantha Marler on Guiding Light. After completing her contract with the show, she remained in New York to study acting with Michael Howard.
Suzy is back in Los Angeles and has studied and performed with Playhouse West, Stuart Rogers at Theatre Tribe, Steppenwolf West and is a member of Fusion Film and Theatre Arts.
She was thrilled to help develop the role of performance artist "Betty" in the film True Love directed by Henry Barrial and developed at the Sundance Writers Lab.
Recently Suzy returned to New York for the Fringe Festival originating the role of Nadia in Shadow People by Jay Bernzweig.
Also, recently, Suzy wrapped work on the independent feature film Beautysleep Symphony where she played the lead opposite Dee Wallace.
Notable television appearances include The Guardian, The Division, and CSI.
